With their timeless and imaginative styles, Ray-Ban has consistently blended high-tech design, lenses and materials. The collection remains true to its classic heritage while continuously evolving to meet today's fashion demands.
Eyewear trends may come and go but Ray-Bans will always be effortlessly hip. Since their debut in 1937, Ray-Ban's classic Aviators have been worn by fighter pilots and movie stars alike. And the Wayfarers frames, with its clean lines and square shape, have become iconic in their own right: think Audrey Hepburn, devilishly peeking over her black Wayfarers in "Breakfast at Tiffany's," or Tom Cruise, dancing in only his boxers and Wayfarers in "Risky Business." Whether your style is rock'n'roll, nerd-chic, Hollywood glam or somewhere in between, Ray-Ban has a frame that will simultaneously feel totally on-trend and completely classic.
After the success of Ray-Ban Wayfarer sunglasses in 2013, Liteforce technology has conquered the vision segment and is the star of a complete collection with 5 different models and shapes
In 2012, Liteforce was introduced for the first time by Ray-Ban and used to create a classical Aviator and a men's Tech model. In 2013, Ray-Ban also used it for its Wayfarer sunglasses, which met with immediate overwhelming success thanks to their unique look that was made lighter and more functional by the use of such an innovative and durable material. This is further proof that customers are concerned with style as well as comfort and improvements introduced by new technology. Light and resistant eyewear that has character yet does not impose this onto the wearer.
Like Ray-Ban's optical collection, Ray-Ban sunglasses are available in new materials that are made for comfort, like Ray-Ban's Liteforce. Ray-Ban sunglasses are also available with prescription lenses for men, women, and children, allowing for fashionable functionality. Both prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses and non-prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses can now be outfitted with a mirror coating, which is fused on to the lens at the molecular level to ensure a perfectly uniform layer. Ray-Ban also offers crystal-clear polarized lenses for enhanced contrast, glare elimination, and increased visual clarity.
Absolutely amazing brand of sunglasses/glasses, most widely known for their aviators and wafers, but cost a hella alot of money. Like, $140. If you see someone wearing Ray-Bans, they clearly are well off since they can afford to pay that much for sunglasses. Yes, they are just delightful and everyone wants a pair, but you have to have some serious $$ for Ray-Bans.
Very straight forward way of showing off how rich you are.
That girl must be really rich... she has 4 pairs of Ray-Bans
Whenever I go to The Hamptons, everyone is walking around with Ray-Bans, even when it's cloudy out
